Main Ingredients

  • 200 g Jute leaves washed and chopped
  • 300 g Field crab cleaned and crushed
  • 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 l Water

Instructions
 

  • 1. In a pot, bring water to a boil.
  • 2. Add the crushed field crab and cook until it floats to the top. Remove and set aside.
  • 3. Add jute leaves to the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  • 4. Season with fish sauce, salt, and sugar. Stir well.
  • 5. Return the cooked crab to the pot and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • 6. Serve hot.

Notes

This soup is best enjoyed fresh and hot. Adjust seasoning to taste.
