  • 12 pieces Quail Balut
  • 3 tablespoons Tamarind Paste
  • 2 tablespoons Fish Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • 1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over medium heat.
  • 2. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
  • 3. Add the quail balut and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
  • 4. In a bowl, mix tamarind paste, fish sauce, sugar, and water. Pour into the wok.
  • 5. Stir well and cook for another 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • 6. Serve hot with steamed rice.

Adjust the amount of sugar and fish sauce to taste.
